This is the season for giving and we wanted to do our part, so this year the Oakland Zoo has adopted a family for Christmas. Basically this is a family in need that without our support would not be able to have a decent holiday season. We’re trying to collect gifts for the family. We will be collecting gifts on Dec 1 at the Pete before the Toledo game. We will also be at the union on December 2nd from 10 a.m. until Noon outside of Subversions collecting donations. If you are a non-student or would like to set up other arrangements for the donation, please contact Dave at firstname.lastname@example.org. Here is the information about the family.
Scott: The dad, wears size 42 pants and XL. He loves action and sci-fi dvds.
Jennifer is the mom: She loves to read fiction and wears a size 17 or XL.
Shannon: Age 12, size 12. She loves Harry Potter and needs #7
Cameron: Age 9, size 8. He loves science.
Dierdre: Age 8, she loves dolls and barbies.
Avery: Age 7, size 6. Loves sports and gameboy.
Jamie (a boy): age 5. He loves spiderman and likes to dress up in costumes.
Ian: 9 months. He obviously loves baby toys.
While it is always fun to give toys, the family could use clothes, especially winter clothes. Any donations you can make would be much appreciated. Please help us help this family this holiday season. If you would like to be more involved please get in contact with us.
Thank you for all of your help.
